How does a user find a job here?

A web site visitor can review any and all position listings for free and without any sign-up. A user would typical click on "CanMed Careers Online" graphic on home page.

They would then use our search mechanism to search for a position by a category / specialty (please look at the top right image). Please also note that a user has access to full archives (previous positions) from this page.

A list of position summaries (matching specified search criteria) is presented chronologically. Each position summary includes position ID, title, location, and company reference (please look at the bottom right image). You can click on the position ID to view full details of the position... or on the company name to go into company profile (including a list of all current and archived positions for this company ever shown on CanMed web site). Please also note, if a company hires CanMed to assist in the recruiting process, it can request for its company profile to be hidden (in which case confidential labels are applied jointly with a edited version of the company description).
